A hip artsy bunch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Context:<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 482px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/CeFTe4PW8AA9Ts5.jpg\" width=\"482\" height=\"620\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dr. Doolittle&#8217;s pushmi-pullyu<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspired by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yuIkKdomA6o\">Noby Noby Boy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8ETeEocqchI\">Hokra<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Quick couch sport game<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Originally\u00a0planned for release in 2014 and was exhibited at GDC 2014 and Play Station Experience 2015 before it was announced for the PlayStation\u00a04 in November of 2015. It was released for PS4 in May 2016 and computers in July 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Design concerns came up with issues of the tendency to identify characters\/teams by their race since they&#8217;re so naked and fleshy. These were addressed by emphasizing team colors as opposed to skin tones in various UI elements with easily distinguishable\u00a0colors and more ambiguous\u00a0skin tones.
