{"id":1033,"date":"2025-02-11T04:46:07","date_gmt":"2025-02-11T04:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mycours.es\/egd\/?page_id=1033"},"modified":"2025-04-08T12:08:05","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T12:08:05","slug":"puzzle-design-paper-prototype","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mycours.es\/egd\/puzzle-design-paper-prototype\/","title":{"rendered":"Puzzle Design (Paper prototyping)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The following exercises are taken from the book <a href=\"https:\/\/theruleswebreak.com\/\">The Rules We Break by Eric Zimmerman<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Exercise 1<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Paper Prototyping Sheet for Get Out!<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/theruleswebreak.com\/resources\/gamesheets\/RulesWeBreak_Sheets_GetOut.pdf\">https:\/\/theruleswebreak.com\/resources\/gamesheets\/RulesWeBreak_Sheets_GetOut.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Design a puzzle using only Ute (the protagonist), the grid, the starting point, the exit and any amount of obstacle blocks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; this kind of puzzle has a correct answer that you are first designing and then &#8220;hiding&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; you can add &#8220;expert&#8221; goals, ways to solve the puzzle in less than a certain number of moves<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; think about the aha! moment.
