Make a short Bitsy or wareware<\/a> game inspired by 0ne of the invisible cities you have read.
\nThe challenge\/question of this prototype is: If the city was a bitsy game how would it look and play like? Bitsy game as: a simple environment with an avatar “rooms”, characters, dialogues and objects.<\/p>\n

Some brainstorming questions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Avatar: if “you” were in the city, who would you be? (visitor, resident, worker, etc…).<\/p>\n

– Rooms: What would be the spatial layout of the city? (neighborhoods, landmarks, infrastructure…)<\/p>\n

– Characters: Who would live in the city?\u00a0 (how would they speak, how would they look, would they have groups, class differences, desires etc)<\/p>\n

– Objects: given what established above, what would be some objects to use, collect, examine?<\/p>\n

-Go through the Bitsy resources<\/a> first
\n-Don’t spend too much time on graphics, this is a narrative and level design prototype
\n-It must have elements of exploration and non-linearity
\n-Make sure to have at least 3 “rooms” 3 NPC and 3 objects
\n-Find a soundtrack to play during the playthrough that can set the mood. It can be just a separate youtube video on loop.
\n-Complete it as an assignment<\/p>\n
