Teams of 1 or 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some historical research is recommended, playing the actual thing is required.<\/p>\n<p>You can\u00a0get an\u00a0emulator like <a href=\"http:\/\/openemu.org\/\">openemu<br \/>\n<\/a>&#8230;and download ROMs from kinda sketchy sites like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emuparadise.me\/\">this<br \/>\n<\/a>Or\u00a0emulate\u00a0online from\u00a0archive in the section <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/internetarcade\">arcade<\/a>\u00a0or <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/consolelivingroom\">console<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can capture game\u00a0footage with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/obsproject.com\/\">OBS<\/a> or with the OS capture tools.<\/p>\n<p>The obscurity requirement is not super strict, just don&#8217;t pick a classic (pac-man, space invaders, mario, street fighter etc).<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to include visual material that is not the game itself (images of the cabinet, <a href=\"https:\/\/flyers.arcade-museum.com\/\">flyers<\/a>, related pop culture&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Readings Games as an Aesthetic Form from The Beauty of Games by Frank Lantz (on canvas) The Squalid Grace of Flappy Bird by Ian Bogost Assignment: Part. 1 Find a game from more than 10 years ago that intrigues you.
