  1. Good work, silly but well written. The background video footage brings a sense of realism to the experience. I feel sorry that you work so hard that you don’t have time to clean your room 😉

  2. Funny. Loved the background footage; it made it even funnier. It gave a sarcastic tone to the entire game. Don’t know how to use a mop? Look it up on Youtube. One of your macros wasn’t working though. Enjoyed the repetition that you included in the text, where you keep on spraying, cleaning, etc. The main character’s voice was very likable.

  3. – other than some parts feeling like they don’t really lead smoothly to the next, the flow of “questions” was nicely done
    – maybe color the choices differently–bolded text is hard to distinguish especially when the answers get long

    1. pls ignore this is for another game which somehow got posted here???

  4. The highlight of this game was definitely the background visuals, which were great and provided an atmosphere that made for a more convincing setting/playtrhough. Looping the story didn’t really add much to the playthrough though, as there is no feedback from previous iterations of the game. (E.g. if you tackled the huge pile of cr*p in the first round, you still had to face it again in the second round.)

  5. I love the concept of mess. And I love the background video to describe it. For mess and clean up, I think add and delete texts in the same page may help on creating this experience.

  6. One of the parentheticals had a broken link, which is only noteworthy because otherwise this game was pretty funny! The inclusion of background visuals made me pause a few times as I wanted to see the whole scene, and the in-game visuals and word choice helped cement the idea that this is an un-fun job. I do question how this branches – it seems that I kept looping back to the start. As a note on the relative futility of the job, I completely agree with this tack, but I might have liked a way to indicate some kind of progress or change from cycle to cycle.

  7. This game was super funny. I love the use of moving images behind the text as you clean but even on its own, I think the narrative really stands out!

  8. Wow! Crazy!!! omg!!!!!

EDIT: Looking back right now, it appears that this version wasn’t my final one. Shit.

    Updating with the real one.

  9. I wanted to “Climb my way out” of this tough job, but it seemed like my actions did little to effect my condition in life. I was not expecting those videos.

  10. – this is such a joe game
    – more footage please, best part of the game
