Known bug: There’s a problem with picking the Mage class. Will fix. You can still pick it, though, it doesn’t cause anything really weird to happen.

  1. I like this but also how could anybody want to be something other than the thief class like what even.

  2. and throwing stars TOTALLY work

  3. I think this is a nice game. The concept is very strong but the execution was a little medium. It made me feel as if I was supposed to pick certain things over others and the lack of freedom was a little discouraging. Although I laughed my ass off when she wouldn’t wear the more revealing outfit.

  4. Well layout out, great interaction, and the concept art was clutch 😀 However i was disappointed that after I took the time to make my character I couldn’t play a game! All in good time I suppose…

    1. Haha, throwing an RPG engine on seemed a bit outside the scope of the assignment. I would like to add a bit more onto the end which details how your initial setup influences gameplay, though.

  5. Overall well done. The character gave realistic responses and I liked how she wouldn’t accept the objectifying choices or the “what are you even doing” choices. (Like heavy armor on a thief.) It definitely made the game feel that much more polished.

  6. I really liked the way this game turned out, and the character development was actually really successful. You definitely get a feel for what this character is like when choosing stuff for her, and I kind of enjoyed the bargaining aspect I knew she wanted to be a warrior but I like that she still is satisfied if you put together a have decent build.

  7. I laughed really hard at my ending. I kept on trying to give her the sexiest clothing and I love how she just leaves and the game crashes with an error “byejerk”. Really fun. It is fun to have your character talk back to you when you are customizing them. Wish more games would do that. I think the graphics were really successful for the game and everything worked well together.

  8. Very Cool. I like the variety and changes that happen over the course of the game. The character had a well defined personality. I played through making what I like and got a poor outcome. Then I went back and found the good one. It would be so funny to be able to play as the character in the rest of the game and see how she reacts to in game decisions. Maybe a little background music would create a more immersive experience but over all everything is great.

  9. Good job! I can totally see something like this making it into an actual RPG game. The Sims and Spore creatures react (generally positively) to the customization choices but this one takes it to a new level.
