Texturing with substance

If you are working on the computer lab – as you should – keep in mind that:

  • They may be one version behind so if you are passing Substance between lab and your own machine make sure you have the same vesion
  • You have to save your project file and all the assets you want to import on your external hard drive OR on the local C: disk. In other words, downloads, documents, and desktop may give you importing issues.

The export should produce a PBR texture set similar to the ones we used before.
From there you can recreate the material in unity, using a standard shader.
