Image wise this seems very doable which is good and that will allow you to have more time with doing some interesting things with your game. Itll be hard to make things stand out though using photos.
I like the idea of using photos instead of drawings, but it might be difficult for the player to figure out what’s clickable and what’s not when objects aren’t clearly defined like they would be with vector images. You might manipulate your photos a bit in PS to make things stand out more.
I agree with the concerns of telling if things are clickable or not. Photo filters would definitely be a good idea. I’m excited to see what kind of puzzles you’ll make.
