Skill Sharing

*based on a USC Games activity.

1- Let’s create a marketplace for skills: given 6 post-it, write down:

YELLOW 3 skills you can teach somebody and
VIOLET 3 skills you’d like to learn.
Stick them on you (in non embarrassing places).

For our purpose we define “skill” as something you can teach or learn in one hour, without much preparation, and related, even very loosely, to the class topics. It can be a technique, a introduction to a field or a software, as well as something more theoretical.

2- Start milling around. Your goal is to find one teacher and one student. They have to be different people. There are no rules, this is about communication and negotiation.

3- In the next couple of weeks we’ll dedicate one hour to sharing these skills so be prepared.
