  1. I liked they very cyclical nature of this game… I did however find it somewhat repetitive (maybe that was the idea?). The images were a nice touch for aesthetics and I am surprised that such a simple, text-based context of the beginning of the universe was so gratifying.

Another thing I wanted to talk about was the content of the game. After playing a few times I was wondering how this rather serious game could make me think about what is happening around me in the real world? A question I have to ask is why did you make this experience? I really enjoyed playing but how does this game interact and connect with the player?

Overall it was a good game. I loved the text and the image combo. Solid work stylistically!

  2. I love the images! (but you already knew that)

I did like the tone of the story. The impact it leaves is pretty intense. The only thing I didn’t like was what you titled your choices. When I was selecting one, I had no idea what was going to happen (it didn’t clue me in on the decision i was making, if that makes sense).

  3. This was a beautiful game that used little text and abstract images to great effect. I would maybe like to see a second version of this game that tackles a larger period of time, going through the formations of stars, planets, life, intelligence, etc. A more minimalist interface could also add to the feeling of grandeur (removing the menu, centering the text).

One simple thing that could increase the feeling of it being a cycle would be to include a link to the first page from every END page.

  4. Another very relaxing read. I like how it loops back if you cause the correct reactions in space back to the big bang and get to do it all over. The images really brought the story to life as well. The lack of a concrete plot didn’t take anything away from the story’s effect. Kudos!

  5. The images are beautiful. I absolutely love them. The cyclical nature of the game, indicating the cyclical nature of the universe, is very clever as well. Your descriptions of space are also very poignant and thoughtful. Overall, a great game.

  6. I liked how comprehensive the results of the choices were, to become various space things.
The descriptions were pretty cool, too.

  7. You start with a bang but then you stop using images, a little disappointing. I liked the illustrated book feel. You seem to have a few dead ends right at the beginning and then you start branching out. It’s probably not the best choice, some players may never get to the bulk of the story and conclude there’s not much to see after a couple of failed attempts.
