  1. I love it! The characters you’ve designed are great, and the minimalistic art style is very nice. I love the concept of playing as unfinished ideas in someone’s mind. The story was fairly fleshed out, too – I can tell that a lot of work was put into this, and the finished product is really nice. It seems like the game is fairly linear, though – a lot of times picking different options just led you to the same dialogue / story progression.

  2. I agree, this is great! It started out simply but branched into something surreal and complex. Your characters were all unique in design and had distinct personalities through their voices. I thought that you had too little autonomy in the opening section, as it seemed all the choices seemed to go to the same conclusion. Perhaps including some more questions for the first monster can help make that section more interesting.

  3. Great story n worth the wait 😀 Kept me interested from the beginning. Very developed settings and interesting characters. The choices were also more considered than any of the other games, especially the coyote one which instilled doubt upon your partner. Also loved the Weeds reference with the “little boxes made of ticky-tacky” 🙂

  4. Like all the interesting choices and characters you made. Also like the distractions you put in the game. The game ends a little bit too fast if I choose to leave the monster. I would like to see some explanations about why they said that.

  5. I really liked it, the characters are fun and nonsensical, it kind of reminds me of Alices adventures through the looking glass. My only issue is that there are so many white scenes. While it works with the characters in many places it sometimes annoys me. For example, you describe a strange landscape you pass through before the fork, and you are really just telling me about it. You could show me. I would have like to have seen less text there and rather had just a visual. I do get a little frustrated that there can be no other outcome than joining with the monster, but I understand why. However, you I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel about that. Your encounter with the coyote implies you wouldn’t like the monster “stealing” your voice but when you join with him you seem to enjoy the prospect. I agree that the ending is just a bit too fast, even a simple, “Sure, let’s do that,” in response to his final question would help wrap it up.

  6. I really liked this game, the characters were all really likable especially the “retarded giraffe”. I also feel like this idea has a lot of potential to be something cool. Sort of like the show Chalk Zone but more poetic and interesting. The flow of the game was really smooth and I like the twist ending. Well not really a twist, the coyote called it but it didn’t seem that bad.

  7. I love that (from what I could tell) the monster did speak in quotes until you find out that you are his voice (and then you join forces bam!).
A good mix of choice-making to experience it differently and also just to progress. You gave the player the choice of giving up essentially, which is cool. The visuals were nice, and it was very light-hearted, whimsical, and magical. I like that you left a lot up to the player’s imagination; so much that i’m wondering if drawing the trees in the forest or the suburban landscape is even necessary. You say a lot only with the character drawings.
Well done, it was fun and kept me going.

  8. Cool story, I like the fairy out of the forest. I like all the creatures you made, they always have a magical feel to them and its the same here. I don’t necessarily like so much when the creatures talk normally or when they say words like fuck, it loses a bit of the magic for me. You always create these super interesting imagined worlds and I remember seeing also some cool environments in previous classes I’ve taken with you that also have this magical feel to them, I’d love seeing more of those in the next project just because I like them.

  9. The character design was spot on. The different mouth colors were awesome for the monster and the expressions worked really well. Cool story too

  10. Very good, I wish I wasn’t getting expelled from the game immediately after saying something “wrong”.
Consider further development, not necessarily in graphic novel form.
