You have 10 seconds until your homework is due! Figure out what objects on your desk you can click on to attempt to finish your homework, and see what happens. No matter what you click, your homework won’t get done… clearly you shouldn’t have procrastinated so much!

Eraser fire was so good. I appreciate your use of animations and multiple items to click on.
I wish some items would have interacted more. Pouring water on the fire, for example. otherwise a good sense of panic; i enjoyed thinking i could win and going back again again and again.
I liked this a lot. I thought you did a good job making the graphics consistent and well as keeping the animations consistent with the graphics. I agree with Eric though, that I wish things would have been more interactive (particularly, I also thought the water show be used to put out the fire) but I understand that there was a time constraint involved and these things could be added in you continued with it. It would also be cool if you could gain more time by interacting with things in a particular sequence.
I couldn’t figure out how to win 🙁 I thought you were supposed to pour the water to put out the fire, or maybe to use the water to electrocute the calculator. The aesthetic is very fun and appealing though.
There’s no way to ‘win’ – you’re just supposed to click away and see what happens, but basically the message is that you procrastinated so much that there’s no way to get your homework done whatever you do!
I like how you basically can’t win this game. It definitely got me to play through it multiple times. The aesthetic is very appropriate too.
Knowing I only had 10 seconds I think I accidentally found all the animations at once creating a lot of confusion for me. I thought certain objects were interactive when they were not, but that was funny. I wish there were more interactions. I could only find clickable items in the lower right hand corner fo the screen. There were so many more items that could have been used. Over all great design.
this has flooded
Fun concept. For some reason I was expecting the food items to be interactive. (Also, clearly the lamp should electrocute you, since everything seems to be out to kill you. :D)
I love the simplicity of the game and all the unexpected results of clicking on stuff. I agree that having objects interact with each other would’ve made it better though.
I like it, this is exactly the experience of procrastinating homework as I am familiar with it. It’s also how I made my game! 😀
the game is so cute!
I like how you kept the theme of feeling rushed all the way through: the art itself seems very rushed, the language is rough and the kind of stuff (the average person would say) when he/she is stressed, and then you put your gamer under a huge amount of stress with the timer. love it. love it. love it.
This game definitely made me feel panicked, especially when I tried to erase something and instead somehow died in a fire. Very hectic! I wish I could have interacted with the bread though.
I am glad you included the restart button since it seems like a vital part of your game since you really only have time to really see one animation through fully. I definitely felt panicked the first time I played through and was freaking out that everything was just not working how it was supposed to. The animations were great and I like the art (the lack of black outlines will forever remind me of samurai jack). I like what you did so far but I feel like for this game to reach its full potential every item would have to be clickable. I also don’t think you really needed the words that come up, it is a bit redundant since the player is thinking it themselves when it is going on and the words just then become a distraction. Overall, well done.
But I’m still curious to see a game that is actually about procrastination. How would it work?
Puts the player in the moment. Therapeutic game to prevent people from procrastinating maybe?
I just wanted to win! I ended up soaking/incinerating my paper whilst throwing away my pencil. Very stressful with the time limit! Brought out quite the response, touché….
