I’m one of the Windows people, so I only have an .exe file.
The premise is that all of the color has been drained from your world, and you must find out how to fix this. Some of the riddles that you have to solve are quite difficult, but Google should be able to help. 😛
On the iMacs n cant open the .exe :'( gmk file plz??
I sat there trying to figure out the red riddle for a long time. Then I quit. Then I saw that you wanted me to go to Google, which did not motivate me to play again. Also, you have the same movement bug as me. I’d be happy to send you my movement code once I get it up!
Crashed after I got the blue riddle.
You might want to specify what form you want the answer in? Red was really unclear primarily because it wasn’t apparent whether the answer was to be a number or a string, even though it wasn’t the hardest of riddles.
I didn’t have time to make a proper ending ^^; Does it actually show a fatal error? If so, that’s my bad, but the game should basically end there anyways.
Red could either be a number or string (it accepts multiple answers) but you’re right, I should specify.
I also had it crash after the blue riddle. I like the gradual transition of adding more color to the world as you solve the riddles, but I wish it had been implemented in a more detailed manner than just adding a filter on top. (But I understand that’s a lot of work, so yeah.) Also that wall-of-text for the blue riddle.
I really enjoy the riddling aspect, it brings more ‘play’ to it. I think the music might be too upbeat in the beginning, maybe looping the solemn piano part, and letting it build when colors are returning?
I agree with what you said, the riddles were pretty ridiculous but I like the premise, it is pretty straightforward and I like the art that you had although your character and items were so much smaller than your environment. The music fit the theme though and I think it is a great start.
